LUDWIG SCHWARZ lives and works in Dallas, Texas. He received his BFA from Southern Methodist University, Dallas and an MFA from the School of the Visual Arts, New York. Recent solo exhibitions of Schwarz’s work have been held at Road Agent, Dallas; Sunday, New York; Sala Diaz, San Antonio and Q.E.D., Los Angeles. His work has been included in numerous group exhibitions including those at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, Beaumont; Diverseworks, Houston; PS.1 Center for Contemporary Art, Long Island City, NY; and Kunstbunker Tumulka, Munich, Germany. Schwarz was also a finalist for the 2005 Arthouse Texas Prize.
