DARIO ROBLETO received a BFA from The University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2008, Alloy of Love, a ten-year survey exhibition of Robleto’s work was organized by the Frye Museum of Art, Seattle, WA and the Francis Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY. Recent solo exhibitions include Those Mirrors with Memory, Inman Gallery, Houston; Fear and Tenderness in Men, D’Amelio Terras, New York; and Chrysanthemum Anthems, Weatherspoon Art Museum, University of North Carolina, Greensboro (traveled to the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, CT and Hunter Museum of American Art, Chattanooga, TN). Robleto was included in the 2004 Whitney Biennial. Robleto was invited by Arthouse to consider and contact an artist with whom he wished to show his work, resulting in the 2006 exhibition The Gospel of Lead: Dario Robleto and Jeremy Blake.
